专辑使用Sony (DSD) 数位技术重新re-mastering，封面全数采用原始封面，大提琴造型木质外盒、天鹅绒内里衬，高质感传世典藏。

的『藝伎回憶錄』組曲，2008年馬友友與芝加哥管弦樂團錄製而成，首度發行。


CD2. 特別收錄馬友友於美國總統歐巴馬就職典禮上演奏的「Air and Simple Gifts」
由當代配樂作曲大師約翰?威廉士改編美國作曲家柯普蘭(Aaron Copland)作品
「阿帕拉契山」主題旋律而成的四重奏，與小提琴家帕爾曼(Itzhak Perlman)、
鋼琴家蒙特羅(Gabriela Montero)以及豎笛家麥克吉爾(Anthony McGill) 共同演出。
